About Me
I am an experienced professional from Adelaide, Australia with robust strengths in critical and strategic problem solving and technical diligence. My range of expertise encompasses Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Research and Development, and Industrial Design. I am an effective and efficient problem-solver with a positive and proactive attitude with the ability to think laterally. I am currently seeking opportunities that allow me to proactively and creatively solve problems.

I most recently served as the Director of Research for WorldSmart, a retail ecosystem company tailored for the hospitality, gaming, and technology sectors. Under my leadership, I led a team of designers and developers to conduct architectural reviews of new technologies and conduct all aspects of the solution development process. I spearheaded a variety of initiatives for the company, including developing a gaming, loyalty, and retail management system. One of my most notable achievements at WorldSmart was securing ATO approval for Research and Development tax offsets which reduced the costs of six significant projects by 43% and increased bottom line profit.

Prior to my role at WorldSmart, I was a Research Coordinator for the Statistical Intelligence Unit within Casino Operations at SKYCITY Adelaide. In this position, I designed and built six Quick Draw Poker Electronic Table Games and real-time slot-floor data visualization software, which was a novel development at the time. I also served as the company’s Chief Technician for over four years, during which I lead the repair, maintenance, design, and technical aspects of the gaming equipment and installed the first Video Gaming Machines in South Australia. I designed several projects, most notably a self-propelled, dual coin dispenser and a Slot Tournament Management System.

With my range of holistic and nuanced experiences, I am constantly in pursuit of endeavors that feed my intellectual curiosity and pair well with my knowledge and intelligence. I have been engaged in engineering projects of ingenuity my entire life.
When I was younger, our team constructed a small hydro plant on an off-grid high country farm nestled amongst the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Rather than a conventional turbine, we repurposed a 100 kW centrifugal irrigation pump running in reverse—the penstock comprised of concrete reinforced aluminium irrigation pipes and hydrant fittings. I also obtained a private pilots license and completed 147 flying hours. On top of this, since July of 2019 I have completed an 54 certifications and licenses, including Certified Practitioner, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Timelining and Ericksonian Hypnosis, extensive range of nationally accredited Construction Licences, Security and Investigation License, and Anti-Money Laundering Certification.
